We caught up with these local celebs at the launch for ThisIsMe, the first online verification system in South Africa. The systemallows you to sign up and submit ID details and documents, so that they can be verified, in order to reduce identity theft.
Olympic gold medalist, Ryk Neethling tells us about the identity theft he has experienced. Neethling has had his bank accounts hacked, been impersonated on Facebook and has even had people do business deals claiming they are his partners. Watch him tell us how he stays protected:
