Rhodes statue represents Eurocentric, narrow-minded racism - poo protester

University of Cape Town Vice Chancellor Dr Max Price said he would like to see the statue of Cecil John Rhodes removed from its current position, but not destroyed.

We're joined in studio by Chumani Maxwele, the student who doused the Rhodes statue in human waste in protest.

Maxwele tells Jerusha Sukhdeo-Raath the Rhodes statue represents Eurocentric, narrow-minded racism and must, therefore, come down. Watch the video above.
