News24 Live got exclusive access inside the dilapidated building site before the demolition to find out the big plans for the implosion. We take you inside as a last look before it become rubble.

The closed-down hotel in the Cape Town City Business District was demolished to make way for a new development.

The companies overseeing the blast were Ross Demolition and Jet Demolition, who imploded the main section of roughly 12 storeys.

The Weekend Argus reported that an exclusion zone will be enforced around the hotel at that time.
