The US military said Monday that Iran-backed Houthi rebels had launched missiles at a cargo vessel off Yemen's south coast, with the ship reporting only minor damage and continuing to its intended port - in Iran.
"On February 12 from 3:30 to 3:45 am (Sanaa time), Iranian-backed Houthi militants fired two missiles from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen toward the Bab al-Mandeb," the US Central Command said on X, formerly Twitter.
