Bakkie passenger fatalities rears its ugly head again

A horrific accident in KZN on Wednesday involving a bakkie overladen with schoolchildren (seven fatalities, according to the latest reports) again highlights the dangers of bakkies being used to transport people. Wheels24 weighs in. Watch. 

A bakkie carrying 23 school children crashed down a small slope, through the gate and smashed into a house in Unit 18 of Imbali, KZN, close to the Fezokuhle school.

Six children died on the scene of the crash, while a seventh later died in hospital. The remaining survivors all sustained serious injuries.
