WATCH: Protesters scramble as snipers ambush cops in Dallas

accreditation

US police say a suspect is in custody and another has surrendered after at least two snipers opened fire on police officers in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday night during protests over recent police shootings of two black men. Five officers have died so far in the ambush.

Watch protesters scramble for safety as shots ring out.

Three people are in custody and one man who was in a stand-off with police, has reportedly shot himself dead.

The protests were in response to this week's deaths of Philando Castile in Minnesota and Alton Sterling in Louisiana at the hands of police officials.
