We'd started wondering if the animals have finally had enough of our shenanigans and were on a rampage to take revenge.
Well, a few guests on a game drive in the greater Kruger National Park had a refreshingly different close call with an elephant and sent a video of their encounter to Kruger Sightings.
Watch the video here.
In the YouTube clip, the large elephant steadily approaches the open safari vehicle and you can hear a rustle of panic from the passengers as he gets closer.
However, instead of venting his anger, he curiously lifts his trunk and starts sniffing around.
We don't know about you, but think we'd probably faint if this happened... although we're not sure if it would be from cute or just plain panic.
