Although there were only two teams in the UEFA Champions League Final, the real loser of this match was a third team: Tottenham Hotspur.
Bayern Munich played aggressively and spent the majority of the match in Chelsea’s box while Chelsea held strong defensively and fought off attack after attack, getting some help from Bayern’s wayward kicks.
Based on the unbelievable display from Chelsea this entire Champions League season, I’m not entirely shocked by their victory yesterday evening. Still, watching them win was surprising given the attacking display from Bayern.
