Nur Suryani Mohamed Taibi is the first female to represent her home country of Malaysia in shooting. Oh, and she's 8 months pregnant. Sjoe!

Talking to the New York Times ,Nur says: "“For me, nothing is impossible. It’s one of the challenges. If I abandoned it, maybe who knows? Another four years to wait, maybe I don’t have the opportunity.”

Nur will be competing in the 10-meter air rifle event and her main concern (at 38 weeks) is popping before she gets to compete. "“I will talk to her, say, ‘Mum is going to shoot just for a while. Can you just be calm?’” Nur Suryani told The New York Times.

We think she's awesome. At that point in your pregnancy you're all awkward and uncomfortable wanting nothing more than to have this baby out of you already (so that you can hold her in your arms instead!), so we're all pretty impressed with Nur's determination and showing the world just how strong a woman can really be.

Do you think heavily pregnant women should be competing in the Olympics?
