The big news coming out of MotoGP for the year is Marc Marquez and Honda announcing a split at the end of the 2023 season.

This is massive because the Japanese team and Spanish rider have been synonymous since 2013, winning championship after championship and rewriting virtually every record in the sport's history books.

Of the 11 seasons he competed in MotoGP, Marquez, 30, won the championship six times between 2013 and 2019, with the only blip coming in 2015.
