South African MotoGP star Brad Binder has shown his support for his countrymen, the Springboks, who take on hosts France in the Rugby World Cup quarter-final in Paris on Sunday.

Binder, who placed fifth on the grid ahead the Indonesian MotoGP race and sprint race after qualifying on Saturday, will be sporting the words 'GO BOKKE' on his helmet as he tears around the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit this weekend.

Practice leader Aleix Espargaro and Binder collided and crashed on the second lap of the sprint race. Espargaro failed to finish, but Binder dusted himself off to complete the race at the back of the pack.

The Red Bull KTM rider is fourth in the world championship with six Grands Prix left in the season.

If the Boks defeat the French at the Stade de France on Sunday, they remain in the running to become the first team to win the Webb Ellis Cup four times.
