Cape Town - South African-born Marnus Labuschagne burst onto the scene on day 2 of the second Test between Australia and India at the Gabba, dropping low down to take a catch at short leg.
The 20-year-old, who was born in Klerkdorp, is an opening batsman for Queensland. But it's his catching exploits that were on show against India.
Labuschagne was fielding at short leg as a substitute when he caught Arun Varon off the bowling of Nathan Lyon.
It seems Labuschagne has been practicing his catching skills in the kitchen with this video he posted on Instagram titled: "short leg catching has never been this fun".
The video shows Labuschagne catching a corn cob after it is chopped by fellow Queensland player James Bazley.
