Cape Town - Kagiso Rabada ran through the Sunfoil Dolphins in dramatic fashion, taking nine second-innings wickets to bowl the bizhub Highveld Lions to a 10-wicket win at Bidvest Wanderers that maintained their healthy lead at the top of the Sunfoil Series table.
Having already taken 5 for 72 in the first innings, Rabada returned 9 for 33 in the second - a record innings haul for the Lions in four-day cricket.
It was just the second time that a bowler had taken as many as nine wickets in an innings in the franchise competition’s history, and his overall match figures of 14 for 105 bettered the competition’s previous best of 14 for 110 - taken by Dale Steyn for the Titans against the Eagles in Bloemfontein seven seasons ago.

Openers Stephen Cook and Rassie van der Dussen knocked them off in four overs, and the Lions took 20.28 points from the game - the highest haul by any team in the competition this season.
They, therefore, extended their lead at the top of the table to 17.06 points in spite of the second-placed Titans winning their game inside three days.
Divan van Wyk (56) was the only batsman capable of resisting Rabada, who began the day with figures of 1 for 10 from four overs as the Dolphins resumed on 22 for one.
An initial six-over spell brought the right-armer two wickets for 12 runs, but his second yielded six wickets in 6.2 overs as he blew the Dolphins away.
The 19-year-old now has 46 first-class wickets from his first 10 games at an average of 20.56, having only made his debut in the second half of last season.
