Cape Town - England legend Sir Ian Botham is heading to South Africa for a series of fund-raising walks - and you can join in!
Botham played 102 Tests for England between 1977 and 1992 and started doing walks for charity in 1985.
Botham's walks in South Africa will mark the celebration of his recent 60th birthday (November 24) and the 30th anniversary of his first ever walk from John O’Groats to Lands End in 1985 (a distance of 1 407km).

December 10 – Day 1 - Cape Town - From the Table Bay Hotel to Llandudno beach December 11 – Day 2 - Cape Town - From Hout Bay to Tokai
December 12 – Day 3 - Cape Town - From Kayamundi Primary School to Flagstone Winery December 13 – Day 4 - Port Elizabeth - From Fig Tree Food Lovers Market to Boardwalk hotel December 14 – Day 5 - Durban - From Food Lovers Market, Springfield Park to Umhlanga RocksDecember 15 – Day 6 - Soweto - From Kliptown Youth Centre to Jabulani Mall Food Lovers MarketDecember 16 – Day 7 - Johannesburg - From Fourways Food Lovers Market to the Mazlow hotel December 17 – Day 8 - Pretoria - From Food Lovers Market, Gateway Plaza to Church Square After the walk finishes, Botham will be going to The Palace at Sun City for a post-walk party.
Each walk will start at 07:15 and is open to 120 walkers in each location and costs R200 to enter.
All proceeds will go to four local charities.
