Cape Town - Blitzbokke star Chris Dry has tweeted a selfie of Queen Elizabeth II at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Dry, who will form part of the SA Sevens squad expected to battle New Zealand for the gold medal, tweeted the picture on Thursday after the Queen opened the 20th Commonwealth Games in a moving and colourful ceremony staged at the famed home of Celtic FC.
This year's event will feature 17 sports across 11 days of competition with more than 4 500 athletes from 71 nations competing, making the event the biggest Scotland has ever hosted.
