New Bulls jerseys launched - PIC!

Cape Town - The Bulls' new Super Rugby kit for the 2015 season was unveiled on Thursday.

According to jersey sponsors PUMA, the kit is rich in heritage, pays homage to the team’s loyal fans and features a striking Bull’s head.

The Bull’s head wraps around the player’s body to create a 360-degree effect and when the team gathers on the field, the design’s collective impression is of a herd of Bulls, standing strong and unified by years of history.

“The new PUMA kit for the Bulls marks a departure from the last few seasons kit,” said PUMA South Africa Marketing Director Brett Bellinger.

“PUMA together with the Bulls decided it was time to return to something a little more traditional and pay tribute to the strong Bulls brand and branding that has made them the most decorated Super Rugby team in South Africa. We also take this opportunity to wish the team well as they prepare for the upcoming season.”

CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, Barend van Graan commented: “It is a privilege working with partners like PUMA. They not only understand the heritage of our brand, but also share in our vision in moving our brand forward. The team at PUMA has over the last few years put together design concepts that have truly managed to set us apart from other sporting teams, and their 2015 design is no different, as it combines tradition with modern design trends. We firmly believe that this new design will also bring our fans closer to the team, enhancing them as part of the Bulls family and re-enforcing them as part of the greater unified Bulls herd.”

The positioning of the Bulls head on the men’s replica jersey is different to that of the women and kids’ jersey so that when the Bulls family is walking side by side, the full head of the Bull is visible.

The new Bulls Super Rugby jersey will be in-store from November 27 and will retail for R699.
