NZ worried about Boks - Corry

Cape Town - Former England loose forward Martin Corry believes the All Blacks' aura of invincibility is slowly waning ahead of next year's Rugby World Cup.

New Zealand's 12-all draw against Australia in Sydney last week prevented them from claiming a world record 18th consecutive Test victory.

A few pundits believe the All Blacks were also lucky to escape with a 3-0 series victory over England earlier this year.

New Zealand narrowly won the first two Tests 20-15 and 28-27 before romping to a 36-13 win in the final game.

Corry, who won the World Cup as a player in 2003, believes the Kiwis could be vulnerable at next year's World Cup in England.

In an interview with Die Burger, Corry revealed that the Kiwis are particularly wary of the threat the Springboks pose.

"It is evident from my conversations with New Zealanders that they are deeply concerned about South Africa. It's important that someone beats the All Blacks now. New Zealand aren't really playing well, but are still winning.

"The All Blacks just need to lose once so that there could be pressure on them. We all know that they aren't at their best when put under pressure."

Corry believes England will reach the final of next year's World Cup, with the winner of the semi-final between South Africa and New Zealand to be their opponents.
