Cape Town - Contracted Springboks could be rested for certain periods during next year's Super Rugby competition.

According to Die Burger, an expected agreement between the South African Rugby Union (SARU) and the franchises could see some of the country's top players rested for certain games.
This would be done in order to keep the players fresh for the Rugby World Cup later in the year.
The Super Rugby draw was unveiled on Thursday, with the Bulls and Sharks launching their seasons at home with derbies against the Stormers and Cheetahs respectively, while the Lions will host the Hurricanes at Ellis Park.
The 2015 Rugby World Cup in England and Wales runs from September 18 until October 31.
