Cape Town - Hosts England and defending champions New Zealand will contest this year’s Rugby World Cup final, if local bookmakers are to be believed.
Sportingbet.co.za have 6/5 odds on a England v New Zealand final, while a New Zealand v Ireland (6/1) is the second most likely scenario, according to the bookies.
At odds of 8/1 you can bet on a Australia v New Zealand final as well as England v South Africa.
A final between South Africa and Ireland can be backed at 14/1.
The chances of the Springboks facing the All Blacks in the final are a long shot, with 20/1 given for such a scenario.
The reason for this is because the two arch-rivals are more likely to meet at the semi-final stage. For them to meet in the final, one of the two would need to finish second in their respective groups.
The Springboks are in Pool B, along with Japan, Scotland, Samoa and the USA, while the All Blacks will have to contend with Argentina, Namibia, Georgia and Tonga in Pool C.
Should the Boks win their pool, they will face the runner-up of Pool A in the quarter-finals - likely to be one of Australia, England or Wales.
The Boks open their campaign against Japan in Brighton on September 19. Their second Pool B game is on September 26 against Samoa in Birmingham, before Tests against Scotland in Newcastle on October 3 and the USA in London on October 7.
