Mbombela - Following their 1-1 draw against Nigeria this past weekend, Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba believes his charges are still lacking a player with leadership qualities in the heat of battle to motivate the players when the team lack momentum.

Mashaba hinted that Bafana’s performance in the closing stages of the encounter was not pleasing as the wind was taken out of their sails immediately after Andile Jali missed a penalty in the second half.

The former Black Leopards mentor insisted that his team dominated the Super Eagles until that fateful moment which also led to Nigeria breaking the deadlock through a well taken strike by Ahmed Musa.
