Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba will name his squad to play Sudan on Tuesday, SAFA have confirmed on Friday.
It will be the first squad named by Mashaba that will not include the name of Senzo Meyiwa.
Meyiwa, captain of both South Africa and Orlando Pirates, was shot and killed on Sunday evening.
Shakes Mashaba was given extra time to make the decision on who will replace Senzo Meyiwa in goals and as a captain of the national side.
South Africa are due to tackle Sudan at the Moses Mahbida Stadium in Durban on November 15 and then travel to Nigeria to face the Super Eagles at the Uyo International Stadium on November 19.
A win against Sudan will guarantee Bafana Bafana a place at AFCON 2015. South Africa won the first leg in Sudan 3-0.
Bafana Bafana top Group A with eight points from four games, Congo are second on seven points, Nigeria have four points with Sudan struggling on three points.
