Cape Town - New Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba says he has not yet decided who will captain Bafana Bafana as the team prepares for the qualification process for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco next January.
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is the incumbent captain and donned the armband during Mashaba's predecessor Gordon Igesund’s reign.

"We have got to meet them first and look at them. It's about leadership - you don't choose anyone to do that.
"How does he deal with his players' problems, how does he communicate
with the technical staff, is he able to carry the coaches instructions
to the game? We have to assess all of this," Mashaba said.
Bafana Bafana face Group A opponents Sudan in Khartoum on September 5 and then return home to face Nigeria on September 10.
