Cape Town - Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone says the secret to their success stems from the fact that everyone in the team is contributing goals.
This, after Los Colchoneros recorded an impressive 1-0 win over Italian Serie A champions Juventus in a Champions League Group A clash on Wednesday.
The defending Spanish La Liga champions are undefeated thus far in the new league season after six rounds of action, with their only defeat coming a fortnight ago when Simeone's side lost 3-2 at Olympiacos.
The Argentine tactician was especially pleased to have kept the Bianconeri at bay in the Spanish capital, with victory putting them in a four-way tie for top spot alongside Massimiliano Allegri's side, Malmo and Thrylos.
He told the club's official website: "Juventus are a very tough team, strong and hard working with a controlled system, an enormously talented midfielder, two fantastic strikers, and a goalkeeper with enormous experience.
"Juventus are possibly the strongest team in the group. Our team has shown great consistency in the last two matches."
Arda Turan was the hero on the night, scoring the only goal of the game in the 74th minute to put Atletico on the board in the competition.
Simeone hailed the efforts of the Turkish midfielder and said it was important that everyone was playing their part to pitch in with goals.
The 44-year-old added: "The truth is that he's having a very good year because he has scored important goals: the one against Madrid and one today.
"That is what we always demand. We need goals from everyone on the team and recently it's been happening: Saul (Niguez), Koke, (Raul) Jimenez, Raul Garcia, Arda...
"It says a lot that (Mario) Mandzukic is making space up front to pull defenders out of position so the second line of attackers can move forward."
