Cape Town - A deal to that will see Asmir Begovic become the number two goalkeeper at Chelsea is set to be concluded shortly, according to reports.
TheEvening Standard report that Chelsea have agreed to pay Stoke City £8 million to sign Asmir Begovic.
The newspaper also reports that the Bosnian goalkeeper has already agreed personal terms with the London club. Begovic is set to sign a four-year contract worth £75 000-a-week and will replace Petr Cech as Thibaut Courtois' understudy.
Stoke City refused to budge on their valuation of the player which saw Chelsea improve their initial offer of £6 million.
Chelsea have also agreed to allow either Victor Moses or striker Patrick Bamford to join the Potter on loan as part of the deal.
