London - Crystal Palace's Australia midfielder Mile Jedinak was charged with violent conduct by the Football Association on Monday following his elbow on West Ham United's Diafra Sakho.
Jedinak struck Hammers striker Sakho in the face as the pair jumped for a header towards the end of Palace's 3-1 win at Upton Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
Referee Mike Dean took no action and the incident was not seen by the other match officials, but it was caught on video, allowing the FA to take retrospective action.
