Cape Town - According to his father, Nabil Fekir will be joining Arsenal when his time with Olympique Lyonnais comes to an end, reports Football411.
The 21-year-old has already expressed his interest in the north London giants, although Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas last week insisted there would be no departures from the Ligue 1 side in January.
And while Fekir could in all likelihood remain with Lyon until the end of the 2015/16 season, his father insists there will be a time when his son joins the Gunners.
"Nabil would like to finish first or second and play Champions League football with Lyon," Mohamed Fekir told Le Parisien.
"If he leaves, it will be for Arsenal. It is the only club that can enable him to progress, with Arsene Wenger.
"He will not go to Manchester City to sit on the bench."
