Five ways to spend £750 million

Cape Town - Sport24 investigates what £750 million can buy you in the world of international soccer.

Manchester United has secured the most lucrative kit deal in football, announcing that Adidas has agreed to pay £750 million over 10 years for the right to be the official kit supplier to the Red Devils.

Sport24 investigates just five of the many things that £750 million can buy you in the world of soccer:

1. Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4

Cristiano Ronaldo's ride of choice. The Lamborghini Aventador is not a shy car with a lofty 700 Brake Horsepower (BHP) to help the vehicle reach a top speed of 217mph.

With one of these luxury cars costing you £263 020, with £750 million to spend you can afford to buy 285 Lamborghini's a season for 10 seasons.

2. Luxury Yacht - The Eclipse

Every soccer mogul needs a yacht. Why not buy Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's Eclipse? The second largest of it's kind. Abramovich's yacht comes with two helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs and a disco hall.

It is also equipped with three launch boats and a mini-submarine that is capable of submerging to 50 metres. Approximately 70 crew members are needed to operate the yacht and serve the guests.

Unfortunately, using your £750 million treasure chest will only buy you two of these yachts which cost around £272 million each.

3. Wembley Stadium

When the home of English football was demolished and rebuilt, it cost the English FA approximately £750 000 000.

You'll have to spend every penny of your £750 million if you want to own your own Wembley.

4. Liverpool FC

When Liverpool was acquired by the New England Sports Ventures group, the club was valued at £300 million.

You can afford to buy two Liverpool's and have some change for spending money if you want to blow your £750 million in this fashion.

5. Players

You can spend your £750 million by purchasing:

Gareth Bale: £86m, Cristiano Ronaldo: £80m, Luis Suarez: £75m, Zlatan Ibrahimovic: £59m, Kaka: £56m, Edison Cavani: £55m Falcao: £51m, Fernando Torres: £50m
David Luiz: £50m, Neymar: £48m, Zinedine Zidane: £46m, Hernan Crespo: £38.5m , Hulk: £38.5m  and James Rodriguez: £38.5m.

What more could you ask for from your £750 million investment?
