Klopp plays down EPL rumours

Cape Town - Bourssia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp, who hinted he would like to move to England, has played down talk of a move to the Premier League, despite speculation mounting over the German taking charge at either Arsenal or Liverpool.

According to the Metro, Klopp, whose side face the Gunners in the Champions League tonight, is among the favourites to succeed Arsene Wenger should the Frenchman be axed from his post after a torrid start to the season.

Klopp, however, insists his time in the Bundesliga is not over just yet.

“The only other language I speak is English a little bit and, for my type of coaching, I need the language,” he said.

“But not now, not this year, I don’t know when.

“I don’t plan things. I was asked: ‘What do you do after Borussia Dortmund?’ I told them it is possible if somebody called me then we could talk about it but that is all. I did not say: ‘I am here on Monday’.”
