Milan to send Torres back

Cape Town - Serie A giants AC Milan are ready to end Chelsea striker Fernando Torres two-year loan deal at the San Siro.

The Spanish striker agreed to move on a long-term loan to the Italian giants but has failed to produce consistent performances for Filippo Inzaghi's side.

AC Milan are now considering the prospect of cancelling the deal and sending Torres back to England.

The Express report that AC Milan are already looking for a replacement for the misfiring ex-Liverpool star and will end his time at the club once a suitable replacement is found.

Chelsea allowed Torres to end his nightmare stay at Stamford Bridge in last summer after signing Atletico Madrid superstar Diego Costa, France international Loic Remy and also bringing back club legend Didier Drogba.

Torres has found the net just once in ten appearances for Milan this season.
