Nani set for United exit

Cape Town - Manchester United are close to reaching a deal with Fenerbahce which will see Portugal winger Nani depart the club.

The Guardian report that the Red Devils must reach an agreement over the fee for the player.

Nani has reportedly agreed personal terms and will look to complete a deal later this week if Manchester United are paid £3.5 million.

The Portuguese player never managed to perform consistently during his seven seasons at Manchester United and was loaned to Sporting Lisbon as part of the deal to bring Marcos Rojo to Old Trafford last summer.

Nani scored 11 goals in Portugal and looks set to join national teammates Raul Meireles and the experienced centre-back Bruno Alves at Fenerbahce this summer.

The Portugal winger is set to join Danish centre-back Simon Kjaer from Lille on a £6.73 million deal as well as the Turkish league's top scorer Fernandão from Atlético Paranaense.

as well as the Turkish international full-back Sener Ozbayrakli and last season’s Super Lig top scorer Fernandão, who scored 22 goals last season on loan at Bursaspor from Brazilian side Atlético Paranaense.
