Podolski: I would never join Spurs

Cape Town - Unsettled Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has rejected rumours that he could join the Gunners' fierce rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.

The German international has found game-time hard to come by over the last 18 months, and has conceded that he may have to leave Arsenal in order to get regular action.

Reports on Monday suggested that a move to Spurs could be in the works, a rumour that was vehemently denied by Podolski.

"Hell will freeze over before this transfer would happen" he wrote on Twitter.

Podolski, who joined Arsenal from Cologne prior to the 2012/13 season, has featured for Arsene Wenger's side for just 37 minutes this season.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
