Cape Town - Sammy Troughton admits he is considering bringing Mame Niang back to the University of Pretoria from Mamelodi Sundowns in the off-season.

The 31-year-old played an integral role in helping AmaTuks to a top-eight finish during the 2012/13 season, although the lanky Senegalese forward would thereafter jump ship to Tshwane neighbours SuperSport United.
The following season another Pretoria outfit came knocking, with Mamelodi Sundowns tabling a lucrative offer that Niang and Matsatsantsa couldn't refuse.
However, after his first term at Chloorkop, Niang has managed only five appearances, scoring once in that time, which he has since described as the worst of his career.
Troughton said a few factors, one of them being wages, would determine if the potential move would happen.
"At the moment I can't say anything for certain but we are looking into that possibility," the coach told Football411.
"It will depend on the situation at his club and if they would be willing to let him come to us.
"Call me next week maybe I'll have more information for you by then."
