Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates winger Daine Klate believes his teammates are well motivated to reclaim their title from their Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their Carling Black Label clash at the FNB stadium.
Despite the clash not being competitive, the Port Elizabeth-born midfielder promised that the match will be a cracker when the Buccaneers and Amakhosi renew their rivalry.
"People think we are not reading much into this game," said Klate.
"But one thing I know for sure is that when it’s derby times, everything else goes out through the window.
"Whether it’s pre-season or not that doesn’t play any part into the game.
"We feel more motivated going into this game.
"As a team, we are really looking forward to it."
Klate is part of the Sea Robbers team which was voted, by their supporters, to start with the game.
The most decorated player in the PSL will partner Tlou Segolela, Sifiso Myeni and Oupa Manyisa in the heart of the Pirates midfield.
The much anticipated match will commence at 15:00
