Last week Sport24 reported that Manqele was told by Sundowns to take a break from training after heated discussions between his representatives and the club.

Mphono then confirmed that the player was at home and not training with any other club.

According to Soccer Laduma, Mphono is waiting on a date from Sundowns on when Manqele and his representatives can meet before the DRC meeting.

“It’s true that we have made a court application against Sundowns,” said Mphono.

“We can’t comment any further on the matter because it has been brought to the attention of the DRC.”

This is the second time that Manqele is set on meeting the DRC with having had decided not to take Sundowns to the PSL DRC after having reportedly sorted out his matter.

The forward was on the verge of joining Chippa United on a season-long loan deal which collapsed after indifference's between Manqele and ‘Downs.

No date has been set on when Sundowns and Manqele will meet in the PSL DRC.
