Ea Lla Koto struggled in the relegation zone for most of the first half of the campaign, but eventually dug deep to bounce back in the latter stages to surge up to an eventual ninth-place finish.

Ea Lla Koto would even finish second to Kaizer Chiefs in the Q4 standings after winning five of their last seven matches, and Masehe was recently rewarded for his hard work and dedication with a contract extension.

"We need to show the right attitude from the start of the season; the same attitude we showed in the last six games of this past season," Masehe said on the club's website.

"The management must also try and keep as many players as possible to ensure continuity. We need to keep the core of the team and I believe the management intends to do that.

"I think the mindset and attitude of the players changed completely in those last six games.

"We just decided that we absolutely had to win, and I think the position we found ourselves in on the table, in the relegation zone, is what opened our eyes.

"We didn't want to get into the same situation as the 2013/2014 season where we went into the last match still fighting to survive."
