Mtsila has potential, says Khuse

Cape Town - Andisiwe Mtsila was recently promoted to the first team at Kaizer Chiefs and Ace Khuse believes he has shown promise and will develop further from training with quality players.

Khuse is a Chiefs legend and also a youth coach at the club which meant that he worked with Mtsila for a brief period after he joined the club a few months ago.

“Mtsila is new here but what I think made him progress to the first team was that he has received call-ups to the national Under-23s, but I don’t think he is that ready yet,” Khuse revealed to Sport24.

“He’s got a lot of potential but tactically he’s not ready yet.

“We played him as a winger and sometimes as a midfielder but we were still looking for a suitable position because he was only here for a few months.”

Despite his concerns, Khuse did say that the youngster has bags of talent and that he would improve with experience.

“He’s a left-footer, and is good on the ball and has very good technique but his tactical awareness is not perfect yet.

“But playing with first team players will make him much, much better.
