A Lehlohonolo Majoro second half strike was enough to secure a point for the Buccaneers on Wednesday evening.

What will please Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba is that two player who could be on the plane to Equatorial Guinea in January stood out in a closely fought encounter. Captain and midfielder Oupa Manyisa, who had a passing accuracy of 94% against Swallows, and Patrick Phungwayo (98 balls played) were the two best players on the night.

The Sea Robbers who hoped to build on the resounding 4-0 victory over Moroka Swallows at the weekend, failed to capitalise on the numerous goal scoring chances created at the Dobsonville Stadium. Kermit Erasmus had the most shots on for either side but failed to find the back of the net.

The Buccaneers are currently fifth on the log table on 23 points after 16 matches played.
