Cape Town - Teko Modise and Alje Schut are injury doubts for Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their Telkom Knockout quarter-final against AmaZulu at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday.
Playmaker Modise suffered a dead leg in the 1-1 Premiership draw at Chippa United on Wednesday, although he has been given time off from training in a bid to recover.
Captain Schut, meanwhile, continues to recover from a freak accident that left him with twelve stitches on his leg.
Meanwhile, Bonginkosi Ntuli and Lebohang Mokoena are both back from injury to give coach Pitso Mosimane further attacking options against an Usuthu side clearly lacking confidence.
Despite claiming a stunning come-from-behind 3-2 win over Bloemfontein Celtic in the last round, the Durbanites are without victory in the Premiership this season and sit bottom of the table, resulting in the recent sacking of head coach Craig Rosslee.
However, Sundowns boss Mosimane is taking nothing for granted.
He said: "We need to be very careful of statistics. You know the story of a team with a new coach and a team that might seem to be struggling. We need to be humble."
AmaZulu interim coach Wilfred Mugeyi, meanwhile, will be without injured duo Ayanda Dlamini and John Arwuah, although Sadate Ouro-Akoriko is available again after serving a suspension.
Looking ahead to the clash, Mugeyi said: "Our biggest problem at the moment is that we are creating a lot of chances, but we are not scoring them.
"We will hope to change that around on Saturday. It will be tough because Sundowns are a quality side and they can score goals from anywhere. But we are confident of our chances."
Loftus Stadium play host on Saturday, October 25 with the kick-off scheduled for 17:30.
