Cape Town - Amazulu coach Craig Rosslee said the Telkom Knockout fixture against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday would provide the ideal opportunity for his side to gather some momentum.

Rosslee and his players have been under immense pressure during the current campaign, as Usuthu have not produced many positive results. However, Rosslee is of the conviction that a win against Phunya Sele Sele could spark a reversal of fortunes.
However, achieving that objective could prove to be an enormous undertaking, as Usuthu lost the last match they played against Saturday’s opponents.
"It’s not about Celtic - it’s more about us and how we turn ourselves around into the winning mentality," Rosslee told AmaZulu fans.
"At the end of the day winning has to be the order of the day and that’s what we have to instil."
One of the critical factors for AmaZulu in recent fixtures has been the failure to contain opposition, especially after conceding a goal early. Rosslee said mental fortitude was an aspect of the game that his team needed to work on and suggested that the match against Celtic was a perfect opportunity to prove that they indeed had it.
"It’s disheartening because we concede early from a poor mistake and that’s hitting us badly. Last season we were able to win games in the last minute because we were able to keep clean sheets," he said.
"Coming to Celtic, we’ve got a tough game at hand and what we can’t do is concede a goal against a side that is very tough in terms of holding out and making sure that they don’t concede.
"That’s what they’ve done in the last couple of games and they are a tough nut to crack but we have the players and the ability to break them down and win the game.
"Nothing is impossible. The club set their targets high and that’s what we want and everything is achievable. Nobody has won any cup yet besides the MTN8 so it’s an opportunity for the players and every week is an opportunity to achieve."
Cup competitions aside there is also the small matter of the Premiership campaign and surviving the chop. At this juncture there is the distinct possibility that AmaZulu will be relegated but Rosslee is having none of that talk right now.
"There are still a lot of points to play for and no-one has gone anywhere except the top two teams so everyone is still in the mix," he added.
"We need to remember that we are still a good team and we need to respond in a manner which shows that we appreciate the faith that the club has shown in us."
Usuthu face Celtic on Saturday, October 4 at the Princess Magogo Stadium in the Telkom Knockout. Kick-off is at 20:15.
