Cape Town - Zambian midfielder Fwayo Tembo is reportedly on trial with South African football giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Tembo last played in Europe, but is currently club-less after falling out with Romanian side Astra Giurgiu last year.
He has also previously been on the books of with Swiss outfit FC Basel and Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel.
The 25-year-old is capped at senior level for Zambia, but did not take part in the team’s recent African Cup of Nations qualifiers as he was not deemed to be fit enough.
But now, according to statements attributed to Chiefs' Facebook page, Tembo is being given the chance to impress the brains trust at AmaKhosi.
"Kaizer Chiefs welcomed a new player, Fwayo Tembo for trials. Fwayo has been based in Switzerland and plays on the right wing," the Soweto giants tweeted.
"The Zambian can also play as a supporting striker as he has pace and is considered one of the most skillful talents in his country [Zambia]."
