Vilakazi: It feels good to be back

Cape Town - Sibusiso Vilakazi trained with his Bidvest Wits team-mates on Friday for the first time since picking up an injury towards the end of last season - and told Sport24 that it's great to be back.

There has been a lot of speculation on where Vilakazi will be playing next season, but he appears to just be happy to be back on the training pitch for now.

“At the moment I am doing light training with the guys,” "Vila" told Sport24.

“I just joined the team but not pushing too hard, I’m doing all the things they are doing just not at 100%.

“It felt good to open up the chest and the good thing is that there is not much pain in the ankle so it’s getting better.

“In time with a lot of patience I’ll be fully fit again.”

Vilakazi has insisted on a number of occasions that he will not be leaving Wits for another PSL side which means that his return is good news for fans of the Clever Boys.
