However, the former Free State Stars playmaker also hinted that he is not guaranteed a place in the starting XI, but has to work for it just like the rest of his team-mates.
Wome, 23, further hinted that his personal ambition is to score goals for Matsatsantsa or assist for his team-mates - in every game he plays.
“Yes I’m very happy that am getting some game time this season,” said Wome.
“I’m happy because every player in the team wants to play regularly.
“I’m happy I am playing, but it’s not like I walk straight into the starting line-up every game, I just work hard for it just like all my team-mates.
“I always put an extra effort to earn a place in the line-up.
“My personal ambition is to score goals or create goals for my team-mates.
“In modern football, even midfielders are scoring goals every week and a team no longer relies on strikers only.
“I’m doing my best to be one of them.”
Wome will be looking to make an impact and guide the Pretoria-based outfit to the semi-finals of the R4.25 million competition when they travel to the Bidvest stadium.
