Sharapova knocked out

Singapore - World number two Maria Sharapova crashed out of the WTA Finals in Singapore when she lost the second set of her final group match against Agnieszka Radwanska on Friday.

The Russian had needed a straight-sets win to stay alive after losing her first two matches. She won the first set 7-5 but let slip three match points in the second before Radwanska won a tense tie-breaker 7/4.
