WTM delegates party in true SA style at CT's Shimmy Beach Club

Cape Town - Tourism delegates that are currently in South Africa's Mother City for the World Travel Market Africa, let their hair down in proper South African style at Shimmy Beach Club near the V&A Waterfront on Wednesday evening.

The event was a fancy get-together of both South African and international representatives, where South Africa's best drumming band, the Limited Edition Drum Corps, set the mood for what was to be a vibey party.

The international delegates, especially, enjoyed the festivities, saying Cape Town in unlike anything they've ever experienced.

Charles-Eric Vilain and Kristina T'Seyen, owners of Alex-Alex, a chocolate and champagne pairing company in Brussels, Belgium, are looking to extent their brand to the South African Winelands, and say South Africa blew them away as soon as they set foot off the airplane.

"The friendliness of the people, and open spaces and beautiful scenery," T'Seven said, will have her coming back to see more of the country again soon.
