Cape Town - While visibility has improved strong winds have forced the closure of the Table Mountain Cableway for Friday.
The Cableway sent the alert via twitter, informing the public that adverse weather conditions have affected operations, halting use of the cableway to the 1 085 meter-high mountain.

The adverse weather conditions have also delayed the docking of the RMS Queen Mary 2. Cunard is celebrating their 175th year at the forefront of ocean travel throughout 2015 and its flagship ocean liner will be in Cape Town until Saturday afternoon, before departing for Southampton.
