Cape Town - The devastating fire that started in Muizenberg and which spread over the entire southern part of the mountain over the past four days is cause for the following road closures in and around the area.
Since the fire started on Sunday afternoon, various properties, including the world renowned Tintswalo Atlantic resort, have succumbed to the flames.

News24's LIVE fire update reports that the fire is scarily close to the prestigious Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia estates, and that people, livestock and pets are being evacuated from the premises now.

The following roads, including Constantia Main Road, are closed and only accessible by firefighting authorities and residents living in the area.
Those who wish to assist firefighting efforts can either donate non-perishable goods or food vouchers to Fire departments involved.

The Cape of Good Hope SPCA is also on stand-by to assist with any animals found injured by the fir, and can be contacted on 021 700 4159/8.
