Man dies while boarding Mango flight in Joburg

Cape Town - Mango Airlines experienced some delays this morning when a man suddenly collapsed while the flight was boarding, and passed away despite paramedics' attempts to save his life.

Eyewitness News reports that the man was a passenger on a flight scheduled to depart from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport for Durban at 06:30 on Wednesday, 17 December.

The airline’s communication manager, Hein Kaiser, said the passing of the man is tragic and that it is particularly not a good time of the year for anything like this to happen. He offered his condolences to the family of the deceased.
