Naked attacker falls through bathroom ceiling and attacks elderly man

Cape Town - In what can be classified as one of the most bizarre crimes of the year, a naked 26-year-old man - who fell through the ceiling of the ladies' bathroom at Logan International Airport in Boston - choked and bit an 84-year-old man who was unfortunately walking nearby as the naked criminal tried to escape the ladies'.

The 26-year-old, Cameron Shenk, reportedly undressed in the men's bathroom before pulling himself up into the lowered ceiling over his bathroom stall. According to Boston Herald, Shenk then crawled over to the ladies' side before plunging through the ceiling at 11:58, much to the surprise of a woman using the bathroom.

Naked Shenk fled the scene of his ceiling collapse, but quickly turned aggressive towards the unsuspecting elderly man who was walking past the ladies' coincidentally at the time. Whilst attacking and choking the 84-year-old man (who's identity has been concealed) with his own crane, Shenk was still bleeding from cuts and bruises obtained by his fall through the ceiling, reports Daily Mail

The elderly man was taken to hospital, but is reported to be doing well as his injuries were fortunately not serious.

According to Boston Herald, Shenk has since been charged with attempted murder, assault and battery on a person aged over 60, mayhem, malicious destruction to property (costing nearly R3 000) and the execution of a lewd and lascivious act.

Shenk also attacked the officer who arrested him and has therefore also been charged with assault and battery on a police officer.
