Cape Town - There is nothing as beautiful and majestic as Mother Nature in all her powerful glory. Sometimes, however, having nature go its way isn't always the best fairy-tale like story you'll see.
In a heart-breaking, but natural occurrence in the Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda, Mother Nature's display of power was just that. A moving, yet horrific site.
The Facebook post made by the Uganda Carnivore Program reads, "Lions have an advantage over leopards both in length of stride and speed. The young leopard was likely not experienced enough to know he should have started his escape attempt earlier, especially against 9 lions.
"The landscape is also fairly open in this area, with few thickets for the leopard to hide in. Each of the lions participated in the attack, and it was Papa who delivered the fatal bite."
