Cape Town - The Lilizela Awards, in association with the National Department of Tourism, has recently announced the provincial finalists and winners for 2014, to be awarded on various occasions right throughout the country from September to the end of October.
The Lilizela Awards are divided into categories which congratulate and honour various aspects of the tourism industry. There is also a prestigious Minister’s Award decided solely by the Minister of Tourism Derek Hanekom.
South Africa’s top tourist destinations has been recognised for the hard work and passion they put into advertising SA. The winners were announced in the ‘best visitor experience’, ‘best Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur Awards’ (ETEYA), ‘best Tourist guide’, ‘best accommodation’ and ‘best Universal Accessibility’ categories.
